Alan Chapman was the director of a very successful company called Clean Walls. They did exactly what it says on the van. During the sixties and seventies owners of inner city buildings had become very aware that the pollution and grime on their property was not only unsightly but damaging the structure. There was a boom for the companies who were able to deal with this problem.

Alan became a good friend of the Davey family and through this connection he met and then sponsored Pat Mahoney.
