GUS KUHN'S TO RACE EXPERIMENTAL BMW

The GUS KUHN BMW Centre is to race a completely new experimental 750cc BMW at the forthcoming International 24 Hour Race at Barcelona.

This new racer features a 5 speed gearbox, twin disc front brake and many other special components to be tested in endurance events. It will be ridden by the GUS KUHN Team of Dave Potter and Graham Sharp, and maintained by the GUS KUHN racing mechanics. The same team were first to finish on a British machine in last year's Barcelona race.

The BMW Factory is taking a very active interest in long distance racing and as a way to develop new designs and components they have been very helpful to the GUS KUHN BMW Centre by loaning this experimental machine. If this venture proves successful, you can expect to see GUS KUHN BMWs racing at other major events, with factory support.
