Peter was best known as a Boyers of Bromley rider, partnering Dave Nixon on the Triumphs to their successes in the late sixties and early seventies. However, he was 'loaned' to Gus Kuhn for the 1970 Bol d'Or at Montlhery. He partnered Ron Wittich and they faced dreadful, wet conditions on a badly lit circuit with poor facilities. The Norton retired in the early part of the night.

This picture shows Peter on the 750 Boyer Three leading Graham Sharp and Dave Potter on 750 Kuhn Nortons followed by Tony Jefferies on his 750 Triumph round Druids Hairpin at Brands Hatch in May 1972.

In addition to being an especially stylish rider, Peter was a talented graphic artist - he designed much of Gus Kuhn's artwork in the 70s.

Sadly Peter passed away in March 1991.
