We have received an email from Mike Brannan who worked for Gus Kuhn Motors 1975 - 79

I came across the website by chance recently and it immediately brought back to memories of a hilarious but bitter sweet time of life for me - a tragic and potent mixture of young people and high powered motorcycles.

Never mind - we can't turn back the clock, so I am happy to engage and share memories of the very happy times I had in Clapham Road as a yoof- besotted with exotic machinery.

The photographs- I recall many faces, and even to this day I happilly recall a gag that Mr Felstead told. Unrepeatable, of course.

Years later, I found a 1977 BMW R100S with only 10k on the clock and in very good order, so bought it to relive a time with technology I felt comfortable with. The previous owner kept it in heated garage for 28 years.

I now live in south Oxfordshire and have a horticultural business (www.thegardenexperts.biz) and periodically go to the vintage sports car club meetings, as the bikes are really just for summer time fun. I've got grey hair - but I am still the yoof inside.
